GEAR RENTAL

Find your equipment
We handle all your equipment rental needs, sourcing gear from Brazil's major production hubs in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. If your shoot takes you to other regions, we can arrange nationwide equipment transportation. While local availability is extensive, we can advise on alternatives for specialized gear or recommend bringing specific items from abroad to ensure your production has exactly what it needs.

Bringing your own equipment
Planning a production in Brazil and unsure whether to bring your gear or rent locally? Our advice is to bring your core camera and lenses and rent heavier grip and lighting equipment in Brazil.
We always want you to make the best cost efficient decision:
Import taxes make electronics significantly more expensive in Brazil, often putting rental rates higher than what you’d pay back home. But shipping gear here introduces its own challenges - it’s costly, time-consuming, and buried in bureaucracy. That’s why we recommend traveling with your essential equipment using the E-DBV temporary import process while sourcing bulkier items locally.
A word of caution: Brazilian customs takes equipment declarations extremely seriously. Those tempting shortcuts or “we’ll figure it out when we land” approaches can lead to costly delays or even confiscated gear. The proper paperwork isn’t just recommended - it’s absolutely essential.
We specialize in making this process smooth. From advising exactly which gear to bring versus rent, to handling all E-DBV documentation and connecting you with reliable local rental houses, we remove the guesswork from your equipment logistics.
Smart planning starts with understanding these realities upfront. The earlier we’re involved in your production planning, the more headaches we can help you avoid. Let’s discuss how to equip your Brazil shoot efficiently and compliantly.
